IMCD strengthens its positions in the plastics and compounding industry in Thailand
IMCD N.V., a global leading partner for the distribution and formulation of speciality chemicals and ingredients, has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in Merit Solution Co., Ltd ("Merit Solution"), a distributor of additives serving the plastics and compounding industry in Thailand.
The acquisition will strengthen IMCD's position as a comprehensive solution provider for the plastics and compounding market in Thailand and Southeast Asia

Merit Solution serves a diverse range of applications, including plastics, construction, and adhesives.
Merit Solution will bring in an established team of 24 employees and is operated from its offices and laboratory in Bangkok. The company generated revenues of approximately THB 406 million (~EUR 10.7 million) in 2025. IMCD Thailand was established in 2013 and the addition of Merit is expected to take regional revenues to EUR 30 to 35M in 2026.

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026.
