Univar Solutions acquires Interpur Chemicals, expanding presence in EMEA PU and powder coatings markets
Univar Solutions LLC has acquired Interpur Chemicals, a leading distributor of raw materials for polyurethanes and powder coatings in Europe. The addition strengthens Univar's Performance Materials division within their new Ingredients + Specialties business unit. The combination of Interpur Chemicals local market expertise and Univar Solutions' supplier relationships and distribution network is expected to give customers improved access to materials, stronger supply continuity, and greater support in addressing formulation and performance requirements.

Interpur chemicals started in October 2020, as a spin off of the former Pure Chemicals Ibérica (PCI), integrating more than 15 years of experience supplying chemical raw materials and technical consultancy for the polyurethanes, resins and powder coating industries. Interpur Chemicals currently sell its products in 18 countries across Europe and a further 25 worldwide. 18 employees will join Univar Solutions through the transaction, supporting continuity for customers, suppliers, and other business partners.
