DKSH Performance Materials expands its personal Ccre business by acquiring Aston Chemicals

DKSH has acquired 100% of the shares of Aston Chemicals Ltd, a specialty chemicals and ingredients distributor for the personal care industry, operating in the UK and Poland. Through this acquisition, DKSH Performance Materials expands its footprint in Europe, adding 38 specialists focused on the personal care industry as well as gaining additional formulation expertise to deliver more tailored, high-performance solutions to its customers.

Founded in 1990, Aston Chemicals is headquartered near London and is a leading pure play personal care ingredients distributor in the UK with a branch in Poland focusing on sun care, hair care, skin care, and colour cosmetics, supported by a large, well-diversified product offering. The company's highly experienced sales team is also backed by a dedicated formulation laboratory in the UK. The addition of Aston Chemical's high-quality product range is expected to open new opportunities for DKSH across the European personal care industry. In 2024, Aston Chemicals generated annual revenues of around CHF 20 million. DKSH will fully integrate the company into its existing operations.
