TRInternational acquires U.S. specialty chemical distributor, American Chemie
TRInternational, Inc. ("TRI") has acquired specialty chemical distributor American Chemie, Inc. based in Austin, TX. TRI has reported that the acquisition adds to their extensive product portfolio by offering specialty chemicals and ingredients catering to a diverse range of industries including personal care, cosmetics, cleaning, food, feed, nutraceuticals, and lubricants.

American Chemie Inc. was founded in 1991 by Mike Kamdar. The company has looked to bridge the gap in global markets by focusing on the sourcing of specialty chemicals originating in India, Southeast Asia and Europe. In 2022 American Chemie had revenues of around USD 20 million and 20 employees.
