Barentz acquires French nutraceuticals distributor, Natural

Barentz International, a leading global life science ingredients distributor, has acquired Natural, a supplier of herbal and functional ingredient solutions for the nutraceuticals industry. The purchase of Natural follows the acquisition of Unipex by Barentz earlier this year and will significantly strengthen Barentz' value-added product offering for dietary supplements, as well as enabling further growth in key nutraceuticals markets globally.

Founded in 2010, Natural is a distributor of naturally-sourced, herbal and functional ingredients for the nutraceuticals (dietary supplements) industry in France and Europe. Key products supplied by Natural include amino acids, botanical extracts, marine products, mushrooms, nutritional ingredients, probiotics, vitamins and yeasts. The company operates distribution model focused on delivering (and securing supply for) a unique portfolio of nutraceutical ingredients solutions to brands and CDMO-customers. Natural employees 26 people.
