Bodo Möller Chemie and BASF have announced they are deepening their partnership and collaboration within Coatings and Construction segments across a number of key African markets.

With immediate effect, Bodo Möller Chemie will support the sales and distribution of BASF dispersions for Architectural Coatings in Southern Africa and in English-speaking countries in West Africa. Countries covered by the agreement include South Africa, Botswana, Ghana, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, and Zambia. In Ghana and Nigeria, the collaboration also includes the distribution of BASF resins and additives.

Besides solidifying their long-standing partnership with BASF the agreement also reinforces the Bodo Möller Chemie Group's position as one of the leading distributors of specialty chemicals in Africa and to the global coatings sector. Bodo Möller are also planning to open a new Coatings Competence Center (CCC) in Johannesburg soon to expand their technical expertise and deliver significant added value to their customers in the region.
