Aspo's Telko Oy acquires Danish polymer distributor H H plastkombi a/s
Telko Oy and H H plastkombi a/s signed on the 19th of November an agreement by which Telko Oy will acquire the whole business of H H plastkombi a/s which includes the distribution of engineering plastics, masterbatches and BOY injection molding machines in Denmark, as well as selling of range of accessories to the plastics industry.

Founded in 1990, H H plastkombi a/s is headquartered in Helsinge, Denmark and has sales revenues of approximately EUR 3 million and 3 employees.
“We are sure, that by doing this investment, we are able to serve plastics industry even better”, says Kalle Kettunen, CEO of Telko.
Closing of the transaction is estimated to take place on the 2nd of January, 2019. Until then the both companies continue to operate independently serving each of their own customers.
Telko Oy is Finnish-based international plastics, chemicals and lubricants distribution company with over 300 employees and sales of EUR 262 million in 2017. The company operates through a network of 16 subsidiary companies covering the Nordic countries, Baltics, Russia, Ukraine, Poland and many other growing markets in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Telko has also a terminal in Rauma and many local warehouses in different markets where the company operates. Telko Oy is owned by Aspo Plc, a conglomerate founded in 1929 that also owns ESL Shipping, Leipurin and Kauko.
