Safic-Alcan opens Russian subsidiary
Safic-Alcan has announced the formation of a new subsidiary, Safic-Alcan Rus, for servicing the Russian industrial rubber & plastics manufacturing sector as well as the CIS countries.Safic-Alcan Rus is based in Moscow and the new subsidiary will manage warehousing locally.
This initiative will enable us to support our existing local customers and to be present in high potential markets while enhancing our distribution network in Eastern Europe

In order to support this new office, Safic-Alcan hired its first employee, Mikhail Shekhirev, who will be responsible for the Sales & Development. Mikhail will hold the position of Sales Manager and will be in charge of the rubber and plastics markets in Russia. Prior to his current position, Mikhael had a long experience in sales with major rubber and plastics players. Mikhail is graduated from the Moscow Business School.
