GRUPO ADI, a Spanish-headquartered manufacturer and distributor of chemical specialties, has announced the acquisition of the Brazilian company CHEMIQ, focused on the manufacture and supplying of chemical specialties for sectors such as agrochemicals, industrial specialties, construction, paper, home care and personal care, amongst others.

The Group's subsidiary, ADI Center Brasil, whose main business to date has been primarily in textiles, is diversified and bolstered by the incorporation of CHEMIQ, offering customers all the advantages of belonging to an international company with the personalized and attentive service of a local one.

The incorporation of CHEMIQ extends ADI Center Brasil's operations to new markets, such as agrochemicals, construction and metalworking as well as significantly boosting the company's presence in home and personal care segments. The deal also strengthens Grupo ADI's position in the Brazilian market as manufacturers and suppliers of ethoxylate.
