Faravelli Group has acquired Spanish API distributor, Deltapharma
Giusto Faravelli Spa (Farvelli Group), an international distributor of ingredients and specialties for life sciences, has announced that it has acquired Delta Pharma SL (Deltapharma), an established distributor of APIs for pharmaceutical and veterinary applications based in Barcelona, Spain.

The company was founded in Barcelona in 1985 as a local agent and distributor of APIs for human and veterinary applications. Besides API's, Deltapharma also supplies fine chemicals and intermediates and are also active in the nutraceutical and cosmetic fields. In human applications, the company supplies antibiotics and anti-invectives, cardio-metabolic products, gastro-intestinal medicines as well as vitamins and minerals. In the veterinary sector, the distributor provides anti-inflammatories, antibiotics, anti parasitics and general tonics.
The Spanish company will be consolidated with fragrancevelli's existing business in Spain, to differentiate the product list offered in the pharmaceutical sector and to develop commercial networks. With Deltapharma becoming part of the group, synergies for customers service will be expanded considerably, the company added.
