Caldic to acquire Oceania-based specialty chemicals distributor, Scott Chemicals
Caldic B.V. have entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Scott Chemicals, a solution provider of specialty chemicals for industrial and life science applications. The transaction allows Caldic to significantly strengthen their presence in New Zealand and China as well as expanding into new geographies including Australia and the Philippines.

Founded in 1993, Scott Chemicals has established a strong position in industrial markets, including coatings & adhesives, plastics & rubber and life science such as food and personal care. The company provides extensive support to custmers through a range of added-value services including customised formulation support and dedicated mixing and blending capabilities.
