Ravago Chemicals strengthens position in Greece with the acquisition of Dr. D.A. DELIS SA
Ravago Chemicals has announced the acquisition of Greek specialty chemicals distributor, Dr. D.A. DELIS SA. Beside specialty chemicals and feed additives, Dr. D.A. Delis also distributes semi-finished plastic products specialising in the import and trade of acrylic (PLEXIGLAS), polycarbonate and polyester sheets.

Founded in 1945 in Athens, Dr. D.A. DELIS SA represents some reputable and respected partners including th likes of Tronox, Covestro, BASF, Evonik, Momentive amongst others. They have a well-established infrastructure of owned warehouses and facilities in Athens, which also provide flexibility and speed in delivering products in the most competitive markets. In Northern Greece, they have a branch office in Thessaloniki.
The deal will substantially strengthen Ravago Chemical's distribution business in Greece and South-East Europe. Ravago Chemicals was formally established in Greece with acquisition of Vetro SA in 2013. This was followed by the acquisition of Delta Chemicals SA in 2016.
